About Us

McF was founded by a group of passionate advocates for social change in response to the unique health challenges faced by women and children in Tanzania. Despite progress in maternal and child health (MCH), the COVID-19 crisis has presented significant setbacks, particularly in rural areas.

We firmly believe that a woman’s health during pregnancy significantly impacts the health of her child in the crucial early years of life. McF focuses on bridging gaps in maternal care services, particularly in underprivileged communities, with a primary emphasis on improving pregnancy and childbirth outcomes.

McF partners directly with communities, providing support and modeling best practices that have been proven to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity. Our comprehensive services include antenatal care, postpartum care, and reproductive health services.

As a results-oriented and values-driven organization, McF is committed to evidence-based interventions that lead to tangible improvements in maternal and child health outcomes. We prioritize collaboration with governments, community partners, and stakeholders to achieve sustainable progress and lasting impact.
